unfortunately people who spell wrong usually are either uneducated or plain stupid so you should care

it has nothing to do with Shelby as in Carrol Shelby, the texan responsibly for the Shelby Cobra or Mustang Cobra Shelby Super Cars only has the name in common

The Ferrari 365GTB/4 "Daytona" was clocked at 174mph=280Km/h in the 1971 Autocar road test. It was faster than the Miura. The 1982 Lamborghini Countach LP500S, could reach 175mph=281km/h according to Lamborghini themselves The Aston Martin Vantage of 1977 also was clocked with 172mph in the 1977 roadtest.

ever bothered to check the materials the McLaren F1 is made of? the high tech engineering and state of the art production?? high tech and quality is always expensive
AlexDeLarge90 on November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am
that's not how capitalism works ever read how much a state of the art hi-fi equipment costs? and yet most people with sensitive ears can hear the difference in sound quality same for really expensive watches

391km/h with a 6,0litre V12, with NO turbos or supercharger with a car designed in 1992 (first tested in 1994) Bugatti Veyron?? 8,0litre W16 with 4 turbos. Koenigsegg? Two huge turbos. SSC Aero? Twin turbo's. The McLaren F1 is still to be bettered and the only car that runs it close (and beats it one the racetrack) is Ferrari Enzo

391km/h=242mph any Corvette Z06 that can reach that speed? The McLaren F1 won the 24 hours of LeMans outright in 1995, in its first year trying (which is very rare)

i love this car i would be afraid to handle it at that speed
